5 Things You Don't Know About Me

I saw this blog topic on an RE blog: shaunRE.blogspot.com and thought it was a great topic. Feel free to chime in with yours!

(1) I rarely watch prime time TV, but instead buy box sets or now downloads to Apple TV so I can watch a whole bunch in a row. Last summer my obsession was “24.” This Spring/Summer it’s “Lost.”

(2) I have at least 150 started (and not completed) books on my computer.

(3) I absolutely can’t wait to see “Beverly Hills Chihuahua” and will borrow Rachel & Gabe’s kids to take so it doesn’t look too weird that I’m going to a Disney flick.

(4) I love to swim. For some reason, I equate that to feeling wealthy.

(5) I regularly get accupuncture.

1) I loved it when my kids were young so I could go to Disney Movies again.

2) I get tears in my eyes over everything. Sad or joyful. I coached girls high school basketball. During time outs the girls watched to see if I would get tears in my eyes and they would laugh. It was actually a great tension reliever during close games.

3) I love to be in great physical shape but hate to work out.

4) I watch way too many sports on tv and could easily be a couch potato. My wife won’t let me.

5) I am part of the beta group in making 1 million in 2010. This is getting my totally out of my box. But I am going to get there.

Thanks Nellie!

We all get to create the size of the box we want to live in. The thing is, once you stretch out, you can’t ever go back. And after you’ve stretched a half dozen times or so, each time extending your boundaries, that scary feeling in the pit of your stomach becomes euphoric.

It’s a feeling of “Here we go again!” and before you know it you’re a serial entrepreneur.

This is interesting…here are my five:

1) I never went to college (neither did my husband).

2) I also tear-up at the drop of a hat, at good or bad…very embarrassing and uncontrollable! It is extremely nice hearing someone else does it, too!!!

3) I’ve been married for 27 years and together with my husband for 32 years; 23 of them we have worked together, side-by-side with relatively few days apart.

4) I didn’t think I wanted to be a mom, but changed my mind and had my first baby at 35 and my second at 38. I can’t imagine life without my daughter and son.

5) I wanted to be a teacher when I was a kid, but instead my first job was selling tires!

Maybe we should move this over to the Forum…I’d love to hear more like this about the members!
