Off to Juarez!

I’m off to Juarez with 19 kids as part of my son David’s charity, Thunder Missions. We’re driving from Phoenix to Juarez (about 7 hours) with 2 vans and a pick-up full of paint, soccer equipment and clothes for La Casa de la Nueva Vida, the orphanage that David came from.

The kids are staying at the orphanage through Sunday and spending part of each day working (painting the little one room church/school on the property) and the rest of the day playing with the 21 kids at the orphanage. Most of the kids are part of the Spanish classes, so it’s a real hands on experience to practice Spanish and at the same time make some connections that transforms lives.
